LAWRA awards grants on an as-requested and as-needed basis to our member rehabilitators. In 2010 we distributed over $10,000 in direct grants and funds to rehabilitators affected by the Gulf Oil Spill and Mississippi River Flooding events. We have also awarded grants to local rehabilitators to improve their facilities and provide care for Louisiana's wildlife.
