Gast is a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator and has served on the LAWRA Board in varying capacities for over a decade. Gast also works as the Senior Field Investigator for the Humane Society of Louisiana and is the CEO/President of the Humane Society of New Orleans. Gast has extensive wildlife rehabilitation training and experience and has served as a wildlife rehabilitator with Clearwater Wildlife Sanctuary.

Michelle Una Camara is a mitigation paralegal and Psychology undergraduate student. She is subpermitted in Texas and permitted in Louisiana and is the current owner of Southern Wildlife Rehab located in Texas. She is also the Junior Vice-President and Southern Representative of Skunk Haven, Inc. Michelle's animal background includes five years as a docent at the San Antonio Zoo doing public education and one year as a volunteer keeper at the Wildlife Orphanage in San Antonio, Texas. She has rehabilitated animals for over 30 years.

Currently the Director of the Wild Babies Sanctuary and Wildlife Rehabiltiation Center in Baton Rouge, Mrs. Harris supports many charities statewide.
